product, not the company.
Four families carry requirements beyond the general quality system. We confirm applicability model by model before any certification is quoted or claimed.
Engineered and validated to the applicable ANSI/RMI standard, including ANSI MH16.1 for industrial steel storage racks.
Project-specific structural and seismic review by a licensed US professional engineer where the jurisdiction or customer requires it.
Voluntary R-Mark certification considered only once a sustained North American rack opportunity and the supporting records are in place.
Mains-powered products may require certification by an OSHA-recognized NRTL such as UL or Intertek/ETL, to the applicable product standard.
For Canada, a combined US/Canada mark is pursued where feasible — cUL, cETL or CSA.
Approval depends on the exact security claim and product architecture; applicable UL standards cover burglary-resistant safes, locks and security containers.
A safe is described as UL rated only once that specific model has been tested, listed and labelled under the applicable program.
Confirm sustained NA rack volume before R-Mark
Where a CPSC rule applies, the responsible US importer or domestic manufacturer issues the General Certificate of Conformity based on testing or a reasonable testing program.
From 8 July 2026, importers of many regulated consumer products must e-file certificate data with US Customs and Border Protection.
